Lonely Planet 100th Anniversary – My Published Cover

Lonely Planet Celebrates its 100th Issue

So, I have some super exciting news to share with you. I’ll cut to the chase. My photo was selected as one of the 100 winners in Lonely Planet Magazine‘s 100th anniversary issue contest!

To celebrate their 100th issue, Lonely Planet Traveller (UK) took submissions from thousands of photographers worldwide. They then chose 100 of those photographers to receive their own, special published cover featuring their photo. I’m proud to have been selected as one of the winners and cannot wait to receive my official copy in the mail. For now, check out the digital version and the cool video that the Lonely Planet team put together below.

I decided to submit a photo from my time in Chefchaouen, Morocco, or the “Blue City.” As my readers probably know, this was one of my most memorable travel experiences thus far. I’m glad that Lonely Planet felt the beauty and connection from the image of this woman completing simple, daily tasks. Now, it’s being shared with the entire world thanks to this competition. Thank you again to the LP team and congratulations on your 100th anniversary issue!!!

I hope you guys enjoy my cover like I do!
