I didn’t have much time in Casablanca, Morocco but I did get a chance to see the Hassan II Mosque in all its glory- arguably, the most important historical site there. The huge mosque took 6,o00 workers over the course of 7 years(1986-1993) to complete what is now one of the largest and most impressive mosques in the world. I could hardly capture it all in one image. Still, a couple of friends there (my friend Assia that I met on Instagram and her school mate) and I took pictures by the beautiful tiled columns and basked in the sun for a peaceful afternoon.
