Interior Inspiration: Marché Noir, Where Vintage Meets Africa Meets Paris

Marché Noir, as founder Amah Ayivi explained, is not just a vintage store, but more like a vintage concept store. The boutique’s interior design gives off eclectic vibes inspired by Africa, the source of most of the store’s product.

Le Marais; 18 Rue Perrée, 75003 Paris, France

Men’s & Women’s Vintage Clothing, Accessories, Shoes, Art, Ceramics, + Capsule Collections. 95% of the clothes and accessories in Marché Noir are from Togo, Amah’s native country, which is part of what makes Marché Noir so special. Vintage goods are curated from Africa by Amah, who came to Paris from Togo in the 80s, infusing the two styles and cultures of his background together.
